12 OF 20. ONE-DAY-AT-A-TIME

Shhh.

Experimenting with brushes in Illustrator and a sweet glass action provided by Mike Campau. For some reason my only thought when I look at it is a bowl full of fish lol.

Winter dreams.

Let’s imagine it is already summer in Canada and we are all complaining about how hot the weather is. At that moment is when I need to come back to this image and remember how cold and miserable actually Toronto was at this right moment and how much I was dreaming of going away to a warm sandy beach instead of being here googling what the symptoms are for S.A.D. ( Seasonal affective disorder) and Google giving me the results for a song named sad! by a singer (xxxtentacion) who’s passing was violent and sad.

woot woot! I’m already halfway of my 20 posters goal. I knew it was going to be challenging and I’m loving it. I’m already contemplating the idea of inviting people to join me for more posters. I’m glad I signed for the assignment, making something everyday keeps me busy, wondering about what to do next and my mood is totally lifted.

Recovery.

Trying to put all the pieces together after an exhausting weekend.

Greetings from Toronto

Toronto's postcard

This postcard gave me a full year of Adobe creative suite when I submitted it for the Adobe Live Design Challenge during Behance live. This prize came at a perfect time for a struggling creative. Thank you Behance team! [add happy tears here] The image of Toronto’s Harbourfront was sourced at unsplash.com and taken by Sidra Saeed @sidrahmd

Day three got me thinking about mental health and the days when feeling ready to shine but as soon the idea starts materializing your brain betrays your self-confidence and makes the day feel like a long dreary fantasy, trying to hide you in the thickest fabric of your closet to stop the anxiety from eating you all up.

This poster was inspired by the need of battling Toronto’s current weather situation. Dreaming of sunny skies and short sleeves days.

Monday #currentmood

This below zero weather is testing my patience and since I’m trying to get some Illustrations skills in Adobe Illustrator, it appeared to be very appropriate to share my #currentwintervibe sponsored by my not there yet illustration skills but trying. Brrr enjoy.
